Book 1, or what was to be the only book for this WiP, is nearly done and yet – the story isn’t done.
After getting feedback from a friend and re-reading my work (minor editing has happened despite my attempt not to) I have created another chapter in the life of my MC and the cast of characters.
I have been thinking about this for days now and I was going to hold off on the second chapter in their collective lives. I have so many other projects that need my attention, not to mention a new job and a f*&^ load of certification work to do, but this thing just wont shut up!
I don’t think I can walk away from a project that seems to be falling in to my lap like this. (Not complaining… promise)
The next challenge, other than making the day run 28 hours instead of 24, is to figure out how to get past my Short Story stigma. I can’t seem to write one that is worth reading.
I may have to put that in between or more to the point, during this next novel.
